Maintaining your Color Sealed Floor To clean your color sealed floor we recommend using a neutral floor cleaner. Neutral floor cleaners are available at all hardware stores. Make sure it says "neutral cleaner" on the label. "Multi-surface" cleaners are not be neutral so don't use one of them. Weekly Maintenance Vacuum and damp mop Monthly Maintenance Vacuum the floor to remove the loose soils. Using a spray bottle spray neutral cleaner on the floor. Let soak a couple of minutes then use a sponge mop or swiffer to clean. Note: The important thing is to be able to contact the grout line with what ever you are using i.e. a soft sponge mop will deform so that it will contact the grout line. Check the label of the neutral cleaner to see if it needs to be rinsed. There are some that do not need rinsing. Yearly Cleaning (Once/yr recommended deep cleaning) Using a neutral cleaner mix as directed for its strongest recommended usage. Apply liberally (fill the grout lines) using a mop. Let the cleaner soak a few minutes. Using a very SOFT bristle brush, scrub the grout lines. Pick up solution with a wet vac or mop. Rinse the floor thoroughly with water removing cleaner from the floor. Dry the floor using the wet vac and towels or just towels. Hint: you can put towels on your feet and "skate" around the floor. After floor is dry and you notice dirty spots apply some cleaner and wait then use a cotton cloth and wipe. Apply colorant to spots that do not clean up. **Home depot carries Rigid wet-dry vacuums. They are inexpensive. If the wet-vacuum doesn't come with a squeegee attachment you can purchase it separately at home depot.
